Chinatown Walk is a recent public art collaboration of myself, Art department of NYC DOT and Museum of Chinese in America. Officially launched at the end of October 2017, 45 of my artwork has been printed on street signage and installed all over Chinatown in manhattan, telling a variety of stories about the life of local resident.
The series of 45 pieces of artwork has explored areas such as local restaurants, street food stand, signature architecture pieces, parks and events, as well as representative object collections that represents Chinese culture. Among them my personal favorite is the hotpot restaurant as well as the dessert store. I'd love to hear what is your favorite places in Chinatown manhattan! :)
